"Staff provide an exciting environment but the atmosphere is calm, and children show they are extremely happy and settled. They develop their independent learning skills as they move freely both inside and outside and follow their own interests during explorative play." OFSTED 2020
Applications for Waiting list

Applications are welcomed from parents of all children regardless of gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion or disability.

The application form can be downloaded or collected from us and should be completed and emailed or returned to the Preschool as soon as possible. Your application will be acknowledged and you will be notified of your number on the waiting list.

We have ongoing admissions throughout the year to accomodate the children as soon as possible after they are 2 and a 1/2 years of age. We are able to claim the 2 year funding if you are eligible as well as the Early Years Pupil Premium. Please click on link EYPP on top right hand side for more information.

Children may be admitted at other times if there are vacancies available. Approximately two months before your child is due to start Nursery we will contact you with details of our vacancies. You and your child may also come in to visit the Preschool to explore the environment. We do not require a registration fee, but we would appreciate as much notice as possible if you wish to remove your child from the waiting list since this gives us the chance to give other parents a more realistic estimate of their chances of a place.

Policies and Procedures

Relevant policies are issued to parents when their child starts the Preschool. Our full policies are available at the Preschool upon request,  including a SEN policy for individuals needing Special Educational Needs.

All policies are regularly reviewed by the Early Years Manager and staff. The school is inspected regularly by the government standards regulator - Ofsted - and parents are given a summary of the findings of this inspection. Copies of the full inspection report are available in the preschool, and are available on the internet via our website.

Welcome Registration Packs

On admission the parent must complete registration forms attached to the back of this welcome pack, giving details of the child’s name, address, date of birth, religious and cultural identity together with contact telephone number, name of parents, GP and location of surgery and details of any illness or disabilities we should be aware of. We also require a minimum of 2 emergency telephone numbers. On the first morning please advise us of any other relevant details regarding the child’s welfare. It is important that all the information is kept up to date e.g. any change of address or contact numbers.
